Taylor Swift, full Taylor Alison Swift. American singer/songwriter who's achieved huge fame with the stories that she shares about her childhood heartbreak. Swift discovered a love for the arts at a very young age, and quickly moved from roles in children's theatre until her first performance before an audience of tens of thousands. As Swift sang The Star-Spangled Banner in front of an Philadelphia 76ers match when she was 11 she had already begun creating songs. In the following year, she started playing the guitar. Swift became inspired to compose her own songs by country music artists genre, such as Shania Twain or the Dixie Chicks. Swift's family moved in Tennessee Pennsylvania at the age of 13so she could be able to spend longer pursuing the country music label in Nashville.
