Lauren Ash Morgan is co-founder and artistic director of Speech of Fire, a new theatre company. From 2014 to her appointment in 2019, she was the artistic director of Seoul Shakespeare Company. She was also the producer, costume/set designer, composer/musician as well as a text coach for SSC while she served as the Artistic Director of SSC. While she was usually the leader of the acting ensemble in her final year, she was the first director (and lighting designer) as part of the SSC's King Lear.
